I'm sorry that I haven't posted here often. I got distracted by 4chan and college, but now I will try and do my best to update here as much as possible. So I want to get some stuff out of the way first:
I had another (ABANDONED) account on here
So I've been meaning to tell you this for a while but I did have another account on here. I used to go by o0William0o and I think I gave myself too much of a rough time with a statement on NewGrounds which I thought was being used as more of a porn site. I made a Community post about it and people mistook my post for being butt-hurt and essentially this meme* before it was even a thing:
God, I still think about how fucking stupid that post was. So I decided to tone down my approach to an online presence a bit and I think I took some advice from some guy that was from the original post**. I have used that account to promote some of my stuff on here so I hope that's not a punishable offense. I didn't want to abandon that account but it's tied to my dad's email and with the new verification stuff I can't get it to work most of the time.
Website and (maybe) PayPal
One day I decided to categorize most of my efforts from 4chan into a a WIP website. I'm not gonna post the link just yet as I need to fully update the thing for typos and whatnot. Also, I was thinking of making a PayPal to act as a tip jar for anyone interested. Not thinking of making a Patreon because:
1) I'm worried it will become another Spoony One situation
Pretty straightforward. Just worried that after I reach a certain goal, I'll quickly abandon the thing and everyone will think I'm a deadbeat creator.
2) I'm worried it will become a pay-walled cash cow
I'm personally worried that I'll hoard most of my stuff and make people pay exorbitant prices for little shit. A lot of my work has this shitpost-like vibe to it that wouldn't work as Patreon content. I think this comes from the times I experienced most creators that paywall stuff like a second part to comics and it doesn't sit too well with me.
So hopefully with PayPal, I can treat that as my tip jar and doesn't make people fall for stupid donation gimmicks.
New Quest in Progress
For those who don't know, a quest is a 4chan forum game similar to stuff like Homestuck, and I started making an ongoing game as well, known as Friend Group. I'm hoping that one day it will sprout a whole connected universe that's kinda of like the Dark Tower series***. For now, I have an ongoing quest called "Lizard Spawn" or "Ninja Quest."
Scratch this, I've been talking to my dad and we concluded that 4chan sucks so I'm not doing this type of story-telling anymore
So I'll post updates for that whenever I can.
SO, that's a lot of the stuff I have so far. The Twitter thing went nowhere sadly but I have a YouTube channel to make up for that. Gotta do some college work and I'll see you later.
